We went squid fishing off the back of our boat that night. We didn't catch any (it wasn't 'squid season') but it was a lot of fun!

wow! that's something i've only dreamed of.
yeah they had squid fishing at ko chang this last week, too. prices started at about 300-500 baht a person, and included gear. They bring you out for a few hours in the evening and you try your luck. we didn't go fishing, though - too busy eating fresh seafood on shore.
Not sure why, but squid fishing was very romantic.
