Chiang Mai - Wat Saenfang

On the streets of Bangkok there are a number of stray dogs colloquially known as 'soi dogs' (a 'soi' is an alley). Well, Sam coined a term while at Wat Saenfang in Chiang Mai - 'wat cats' (a 'wat' is a temple). And Wat Saenfang had wat cats in profusion. As well as, oddly enough, some very not-eaten-by-wat-cat chickens. Go figure.

Note the monk cells that are over 100 years old. And once again, beautiful wood all around the temple.
