More market pictures today - the lady pouring is 'pulling' our iced tea, which makes it foamy and gives it body. The fuzzy bird is a baby parrot - the cage they were in is an incubator. And the eggs are injected with herbs - we didn't try those, but I bet they're good.

yeah, that was why i took the picture - not sure if it's a face thing (soften the blow at the end so no one loses face) or if it's a local phrase in english that's taken on a slightly different meaning. in taiwan a lot of my english students would use phrases they heard from tv commercials as slang, and the slang would mean something different to them than it did to us. is there a such thing as 'thainglish'?
