We decided to try some of the 100 baht/hour massage vendors in the neighborhood the other day. Since this works out to a bit less than $3 USD per hour, we weren't sure what to expect.
Well, we had a very pleasant experience - the massages were quality, and we left very relaxed. And at these rates, we may just have to make a habit of it.
