We saw our first fried bugs (that we know of) at a market on our way to the pier near Wat Phra Kaew. I think these are waterbugs. They didn't look half bad, but we didn't eat any - we ate some grilled fish cakes (in Taiwan they call it something like 'hay luen') instead. But I was tempted!While we're here in Thailand we certainly have to find an opportunity to eat some bugs.
