Cambodia - Food II - street food

Lots of great food on the streets of Siem Reap.  I suppose technically a pig on the back of a moto isn't technically street food, but I think it was soon to be food, and it was definitely on the street at the time we saw it.  The lady frying up what in Taiwan is called 'hey luan' was actually in a market, too, so we cheated a bit there, too.

The steamed buns shown had pork and egg and other savory nibblies in them - they were fantastic.  The rice cakes were delectable (a bit of chive in those) - check out the food fire used to heat the pan to make those!  And they make the egg crepes with milk and sauce in Thailand as well, but these had their own distinct methods and flavors.

The baguette was very interesting - definitely, the french style bread in town was top notch.  And this one had all sorts of things stuffed in it, making it a wonderful snack to much by the riverside.

The last pics are us at a street stall - that's a banana shake I'm working on to go with my fried rice, and noodle soup for Sam.
